How do I use a baby bottle?
How do I use a baby bottle?
Many parents follow the paced bottle feeding method because it helps regulate milk flow, supports natural feeding cues, and mimics breastfeeding. It can also aid digestion and reduce the risk of overfeeding. Learn more about paced bottle feeding and how it works here.

What does "anti-colic" mean?
What does "anti-colic" mean?
"Anti-colic" refers to bottle features that help reduce the amount of air a baby swallows while feeding. Swallowed air can lead to gas, discomfort, and excessive crying - commonly known as colic. While all newborns cry sometimes, colic is typically diagnosed when a baby cries for more than 3 hours a day, at least 3 days a week, for at least one week. It affects about 1 in 5 babies. The exact cause is unknown, but some experts believe it may be linked to digestion issues or a sensitivity to something in the baby’s formula or breastmilk. One way to help reduce colic is to minimize the amount of air your baby swallows while feeding. All BIBS Baby Bottles include an anti-colic slit in the nipple that helps control milk flow and prevent bubbles from forming in the milk. This creates a smoother feeding experience with less air intake, helping minimize discomfort and colic - so your baby can feed more comfortably.
Do BIBS bottles break or scratch?
Do BIBS bottles break or scratch?
Our bottles are made from two high-quality and durable materials: borosilicate glass or BPA-free PP. Borosilicate glass is much sturdier than regular glass, offering excellent scratch, stain, and shatter resistance, making it an ideal long-lasting option. However, like all glass, it can still break if subjected to significant force. BPA-free PP is a lightweight plastic that can withstand most bumps associated with everyday use. That said, PP is softer than glass or thicker materials, making it slightly more prone to minor scratches from regular handling or contact with rough surfaces. To minimize wear and tear and prevent damage, we recommend using soft cleaning tools, avoiding harsh chemicals, storing the bottle away from sharp objects, and always handling with care.
Why do bottles sometimes deform?
Why do bottles sometimes deform?
Plastic bottles can deform due to changes in heat and air pressure. When hot liquid is poured into the bottle, the air inside heats up and expands. If the bottle is closed or covered while the air is still warm, an airtight seal forms. As the bottle cools, the air inside contracts, creating a vacuum that can cause the bottle to collapse or deform, especially if it’s made of softer plastic like PP (polypropylene). This is a natural physical reaction, not a defect. To prevent this, never close the bottle with a cap or place it in a sealed container while it is being heated or still warm, and always allow it to cool down fully before sealing it with a lid.
BIBS Baby Bottles
At BIBS, we support the health authorities’ official recommendations on breastfeeding newborns. When breastfeeding goes well, it is a wonderful way to nourish and bond with your baby. However, some parents face challenges with breastfeeding and may need to supplement, some cannot breastfeed at all, and others choose alternative feeding methods. In these cases, a baby bottle can be a great solution offering flexibility and peace of mind.
Our range of BIBS baby bottles is thoughtfully designed to support different feeding journeys, whether you're combining bottle and breast or exclusively bottle-feeding. With options like glass baby bottles and silicone baby bottles, we offer safe and high-quality solutions tailored to modern families.
Baby milk bottle as a practical everyday essential
A baby milk bottle is more than just a feeding tool. It is a practical part of everyday life that brings ease, comfort, and consistency to both baby and parent. Whether you are supplementing breastfeeding or exclusively bottle-feeding, a well-designed baby milk bottle supports a smooth and calming feeding experience.
At BIBS, our bottles are developed with a strong focus on functionality and safety. The breast-like nipple, the anti-colic valve, and carefully selected materials all contribute to a product that feels natural and trusted. Our baby milk bottles are easy to handle and designed for reliable everyday use.
Advantages of bottle-feeding
One of the main benefits of using baby bottles is that it allows both parents to participate in feeding. Feeding is an essential bonding moment, and while breastfeeding doesn’t always allow shared involvement, bottle-feeding ensures both parents or other caregivers can take part. This can foster a deeper connection with your baby, especially in the early months.

Breast-like nipple with anti-colic function
The round nipple on our baby bottles is shaped after the popular BIBS Colour pacifier, designed to resemble a mother’s soft breast. It supports natural latching and helps reduce nipple confusion when combining breastfeeding with bottle-feeding. This makes BIBS one of the best bottles for breastfed babies who alternate between breast and bottle.
Additionally, the nipple features an integrated anti-colic valve, which ensures a smooth milk flow and reduces the amount of air swallowed helping to minimize colic and discomfort during feeding.
Flow rate
All babies are unique, with different preferences and feeding rhythms. That’s why our baby bottle nipples come in various flow rates to meet individual needs. Whether your baby prefers a slow or faster flow, our range supports a personalized feeding experience.

Materials
At BIBS, we understand that every family has different priorities. That’s why we offer baby bottles in both glass and silicone variants, letting you choose what suits your lifestyle best. Our glass baby bottles are timeless, durable, and free from harmful chemicals, while our silicone baby bottles are lightweight, flexible, and virtually unbreakable perfect for families on the go. Both options reflect our commitment to safety and aesthetics.
You can also choose between two nipple materials: natural rubber latex, mimicking the softness of a breast, and medical-grade silicone ideal for its hypoallergenic, long-lasting, and non-slip qualities.
All our bottles are BPA-free, making them a safe and reliable choice for your baby. Whether you’re looking for the best baby bottles for newborns, glass bottles for babies, or the best bottles for breastfed babies, BIBS offers a trusted solution.
