Benefits of the Wobbly Tower
Wobbly Tower is designed with endless possibilities of use – only the imagination sets the limits.
It encourages play, provides sensory stimulation, and develops children’s fine motor skills while being a sculptural and fun object for the modern family home.
Supports development and growth
Wobbly Tower is a multi-functional toy for children from the age of 12 months. It is designed to encourage stacking and to develop the child’s fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and spatial reasoning. The tower also encourages play in both sand and water and comes with imprints and small holes of different sizes to create a shower effect for water to flow out at different speeds. (NB. The rattling ball cannot go in water).
It is designed to provide sensory stimulation with different textures while the top ball also functions as a rattle toy.
It is designed with endless possibilities for fun and play because we know the need for toys to be entertaining while also supporting the child’s growth and development.
Design process
We worked our way beyond an “ordinary” stacking toy design to make a multi-functional toy that could be stacked or assembled in several different ways while working as an aesthetic design item for the modern household. The initial idea was to make a product that had a classic design, multiple functions, and something that would challenge the child in different ways during their development and growth.
Long product lifetime
The toy is designed in a durable and safe food-grade material with an aesthetic look, which furthers its usability for years to come.
We always strive to design our products with sustainability in mind. With the Wobbly Tower, we have created a product that can grow with the child. By including sustainable design principles in the design process, we believe that we have created a unique and durable product that stands the test of time and can be used for years without the need for replacement.
Recycling
The content of the rattle ball is leftover plastic from our production in Denmark. Instead of creating the rattle parts in new plastic, we make these parts from the plastic waste of our other baby products. This is not only a cost-effective solution but also reduces plastic use, ensuring less waste.
